OUT OF THE FRYING PAN…

The Rox got into the win column for the first time this season last night when they took game two from the Bismarck Larks by a score of 11-3. Starting Pitcher Kaden Pfeffer went six innings and only allowed three runs for his quality start.

Kade Lewis contributed in a big way with the game-winning hit as he smoked an RBI double down the left field line in the top of the seventh, and the Rox wouldn’t look back from there.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

ROX- Kade Lewis (Butler University) is off to a fantastic start this season, hitting .444 in his nine at-bats with three rbi. Lewis also has two extra-base-hits to go with his 4 hits on the season.

Holthaus, who primarily pitched for the Hot Tots last year, had increased success when batting this spring, hitting .395 with 50 RBIs for the Cyclones.
