OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION
The Rox bats had a great series at the plate against the Minnesota Mud Puppies the last two games. The Rox scored 23 runs, hit two homers, struck out only eight times and drew 19 bases on balls. St. Cloud has now walked 161 times this season in 31 games which equates to a 5.19 BB/9 ratio.
PROBABLE STARTERS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE
STC- Kris Sosnowski is slated to make his second start of the season for the Rox tonight. He has pitched in two games this season for St. Cloud and racked up 4.1 innings of work where he has struck out three, walked one, and has an ERA of 2.08. Sosnowski brings a great fastball and a hammer of a curveball to Duluth hoping to keep the Rox hot stretch going.
DUL- Gilbert Saunders is scheduled to make the start for the Huskies tonight. The Gilbertsville PA native has pitched in four games this season with a 1-3 record where he has pitched to a 9.00 ERA in 11 innings this season. Across those innings, he has walked 11, struck out six and has allowed 11 earned runs.
