“HERE COMES THE BOOM”

St. Cloud has a great power game, sitting fourth in the NWL in home runs. Austin Haley has two, Jackson Cooke, Tyler Bishop, Tyson LeBlanc, Grant Sommers and Ethan Gibson each have one. St. Cloud also sits sixth in the league in ISO% which is a stat that measures a hitter’s raw power by showing how often they hit for extra bases (doubles, triples, and home runs) relative to their at-bats. It’s essentially a measure of a player’s ability to hit the ball hard.

PROBABLE STARTERS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

STC- Riane Ritter gets the start for St. Cloud tonight. Ritter will be the second St. Thomas Tommie to start in this series vs Mankato. His first time out, he was phenomenal, tossing 5.2 scoreless innings with six strikeouts back on May 29th vs Bismarck.

MAN- Mankato will go with Ean DiPasquale tonight. The MSU-Mankato Maverick tossed 4.1 innings his first appearance of the year and allowed three runs, none of which were earned. With the Mavericks, he pitched in 23 games in the spring where he struck out 29 and walked nine in his 42 innings pitched.
