ST. CLOUD, MN – The St. Cloud Rox (27-8) are 2-0 to start the second half of the season after a 10-4 victory over the Minot Hot Tots (10-28) on Wednesday.

Following a 10-0 victory on Tuesday, the Rox bats came to play again as St. Cloud had five hits in the second inning, including a Sawyer Smith (University of Kansas) two RBI double, and scored four runs to extend the lead to 5-0.  

In the third, Tyson LeBlanc (Louisiana State – Eunice) added a solo home run to make it 6-0.

On his birthday, starting pitcher Jake Burcham (Tarleton State University) threw five innings on the mound without allowing a run from the Hot Tots and tallied nine strikeouts.

By the end of the contest, St. Cloud was victorious 10-4.

The All-Star Trophy and Awards Star of the Game is Tyson LeBlanc.

The Rox will take a road trip to North Dakota to take on the Badlands Big Sticks for a four-game series before returning to Joe Faber Field on Monday, July 7th, at 6:35 p.m. to take on the Bismarck Larks.
