The St. Cloud Rox returned to Minnesota on Saturday to take on the Willmar Stingers.

The Rox fell behind in the first inning 4-0 and were able to scrape across a run to cut the lead with an RBI single by Augusto Mungarrieta (Kansas) to make it 4-1.

WIllmar would score more runs throughout the rest of the game and would walk away with a 12-1 victory.

Aidan Lieser was great out of the bullpen with 2.1 shutout innings and five strikeouts.

STC- The Rox will turn to their ace Jake Burcham in game two. Burcham holds an ERA of 2.79 across nine starts with 48.1 innings pitched. He has struck out 43, walked 23, and allowed 26 hits across his appearances this campaign. In his last two starts, he has given up ten runs (nine earned) across eight innings with five strikeouts and six walks. Post all-star break he has an ERA of 10.13.

WIL- Jackson Sobel will make the start for Willmar. Sobel has pitched in five games with 14 innings pitched, 14 strikeouts, seven walks, and ten hits with a record of 1-0 and two saves for an ERA of 3.86. He pitched against St. Cloud on July 20 and went 3.2 innings, giving up one run with two strikeouts and two hits.
