STC- Piercen McElyea will make his first start of the season for St. Cloud. McElyea, a right-handed pitcher from Edmond, Oklahoma, returns for his third season with the Rox. Known for his electric strikeout ability, he tallied 52 strikeouts in 43 innings in 2024, building on his impressive 56 strikeouts in 2023. His standout year in 2023 earned him the title of the Rox Co-Pitcher of the Year, shared with RHP Tommy Gross. McElyea holds several Rox records, including the single-game strikeout record with 14 against the Bismarck Larks.
