- Brandon Jaenke Breaks Rox Single-Season Save Record
Brandon Jaenke recorded 15 saves during the 2025 season – a Rox single-season record. The record was previously held by Chase Grillo in 2022 (13 saves). Furthermore, Brandon Jaenke recorded his 100th NWL career strikeout during the 2025 season, now totaled to 126 Ks during his Northwoods League tenure.
- Tanner Recchio Breaks Rox Single-Season Stolen Base Record
Tanner Recchio stole a total of 31 bases during the 2025 season – which broke the single-season record previously held by a tie between John Nett & Sawyer Smith (30 SBs).
- Rox Alumni Light up MiLB Postseason Honors
Five Rox alumni appeared on the MiLB postseason awards following the conclusion of the 2025
season.
Riley Cornelio (St. Cloud ‘22) rocketed through the Nationals’ farm system, dominating every level and leading minor league pitchers in multiple categories while posting elite ERAs and piling up strikeouts. He capped the season as the 2025 Nationals Minor League Pitcher of the Year and is expected to make his Major League debut in 2026.
Otto Kemp’s (St. Cloud ‘21) rise from undrafted free agent to everyday Major Leaguer in just three years was highlighted by a dominant 2025 season, where he starred in Triple-A Lehigh Valley, leading the International League in numerous offensive categories and earning multiple honors. He made his MLB debut with the Phillies on June 7 and finished the year as the organization’s Minor League Player of the Year after a strong first big league campaign.
Bob Seymour (St. Cloud ‘18) delivered a monster 2025 season in Triple-A Durham, ranking among the top power hitters in Minor League Baseball while leading the International League in total bases and tying for the minor league home run lead before his promotion. He made his MLB debut with the Rays in August, hit his first big league homer days later, and was named Tampa Bay’s Minor League Player of the Year.
Otto Kemp was named to the Triple-A All-Star Team, while Ryan Jackson (St. Cloud ’22) earned Low-A All-Star honors. Charlie Condon (St. Cloud ’22) was selected as an Arizona Fall League All-Star and also received the league’s Sportsmanship Award.
- Five Rox Players Selected for 2025 All-Star Game
The Rox led the NWL with five All-Star participants. Pitchers JP Robertson, Brandon Jaenke and Jake Burcham toed the mound for the Rox in Madison, WI. Austin Haley and Carter Jorissen represented the Rox in the field. With the Rox having the best record in the Great Plains prior to the All-Star game, coaches Nick Studdard, Logan Lawrence and Cayden Taylor were selected to coach the Great Plains Division All-Stars.
- Rox Win First Half Title, Marking Sixth Consecutive Postseason Appearance
The Rox started off the 2025 season as hot as can be, finishing with a 25-8 record in the first half of the season – a NWL best. This achievement punched the Rox ticket to the NWL playoffs for the sixth consecutive season, an accolade that no other team in the league share. Finishing the season with a 50-24 record, the Rox finished the season with the second best record in the league overall.
