The 2026 Rox campaign has come to a close, but it offers a moment to celebrate the victories within the season. The following are placed in chronological order:

• 5/27: in game three of the regular season, the Rox found themselves down 5-3 to the Badlands Big Sticks after six innings. The rally then began, with runs in the seventh and eighth. Entering the ninth, the score was deadlocked at five before Nolan Geislinger hit a single down the right field line to bring home two runs and give the Rox the difference. St. Cloud went on to win 8-5
• 6/5: Field Manager Nick Studdard, along with hitting coach Beau Kirsch, joined the Rox in Minot during a series against the Hot Tots. At that point, pitching coach Chris Garcia held down the fort and then some; the Rox boasted a 9-2 record before the Bengals coaches arrived.
• 6/7: Tanner Recchio knocked his first career Rox home run over the Corbett Field wall in Minot, en route to a 13-1 drubbing of the Hot Tots. The tater was an introduction to a history-making campaign for Recchio. In the same contest, Hunter Poe tossed his magnum opus, going eight innings and allowing just one earned run.
• 6/17: Adam Trevino earns a Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night nod after 3.1 shutout innings en route to his first win, punching out five Larks and allowing no baserunners.
• 6/19: Cole Decker sets the Rox single-game record for walks, with five. Decker earned free passes in the first, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings in a 5-1 win at Bismarck. The outfielder also tallied two runs and three stolen bases.
• 6/21: Tanner Recchio swipes another record. Against the Minot Hot Tots, the infielder stole his 91st career Northwoods League base, a highlight to the 8-3 victory. He took 34 bases in both 2023 with the Minnesota Mud Puppies and 2025 with the St. Cloud Rox.
• 6/23: Following an 8-0 win over the Big Sticks, Nick Studdard officially eclipsed 100 wins as field manager of the St. Cloud Rox. He achieved the mark in 156 regular season games, the fastest in franchise history to find triple digits.
• 6/24: The Rox defeated the Badlands Big Sticks 11-6; with the win and a La Crosse Loggers loss, it meant St. Cloud clinched the first half championship. The coaching staff of Studdard, Garcia, and Kirsch represented the Great Plains in the All-Star Game in Dyersville, IA. Nolan Geislinger, Ethan Felling, Hunter Poe, Eli Lamb, Brady Ferguson, and Brandon Jaenke all traveled to the Field of Dreams movie site.
• 6/30: Emerson McKnight began the second half action with one of the best single-game performances all year long. The Jayhawk tossed a complete game shutout in Dickinson, allowing just three baserunners, striking out ten Big Sticks, all within 97 pitches. He was awarded his first of three league Pitcher of the Night awards.
• 7/5: Manning West battled the Mankato Moondogs and was awarded the Pitcher of the Night moniker after throwing 13 strikeouts in seven innings, the most punchouts for a Rox pitcher in a single game this year. He allowed a single earned run, as the Rox won 5-3.
• 7/24: Tanner Recchio cemented himself one of the greatest baserunners in league history, taking the single-season stolen base record from 2025 Larry Edwards, who swiped 67. Recchio chased down his 68th, but finished the season with 81, shattering the previous best.
• 7/25: The very next day, the Rox broke the league single-season team stolen base record, against the very franchise that set it. The 2024 Willmar Stingers took 251 bases, but St. Cloud ended their regular season with 287.
• 7/26: Colton Rother tied the Rox single-game hits record, with five against the Mankato Moondogs. He finished the day 5-6, with two runs, a double, and four RBI. The Rox ended up losing 16-12 to Mankato.
• 7/27: The Rox celebrated their first walk-off win of the season, 6-5 over the Moondogs. In his league debut, Luke Haney found himself with bases loaded in the bottom of the tenth. He forced a full-count walk on Landon Dodge, and the winning run came home.
• 8/2: Rother found another single-game record to tie; this time, RBI. He knocked in seven against the Badlands Big Sticks, and was a double away from a cycle. The Rox won in dominating fashion, 16-3.
• 8/5: With a Willmar loss, St. Cloud clinched the Great Plains West Championship and home field advantage in the first round against the eventual second-half champions, the Stingers.
• 8/8: St. Cloud concludes the regular season with a 7-2 win against Minot at home. The Rox team MVP was Tanner Recchio, and Emerson McKnight was the Pitcher of the Year. The team broke their franchise records for single-season runs, walks, stolen bases, on-base percentage, and on-base plus slugging.
• 8/11: Aidan Mouton hits a sacrifice fly to right field, bringing home the winning run, Kaden Amundson, to defeat the Willmar Stingers 10-9 in walk-off fashion. The Rox eliminated the Stingers from championship contention, and propelled themselves into the Great Plains Final against the Eau Claire Express. Jackson Legg was named the Northwoods League Player of the Night after going 3-3 with a run, a double, a home run, four RBI, a walk, a sacrifice fly, and a stolen base.
• 8/13: The Rox advance to the Northwoods League Championship after defeating the Eau Claire Express 10-5. The fourth run for St. Cloud came by way of Tanner Recchio home run; when the Express responded by tying it up, Brett Griffiths left the yard to put the score at 7-4, and the Rox never looked back. Joe Faber Field would see the Rox battle the Royal Oak Leprechauns for the crown.
• 8/14: The Northwoods League Championship was played at Joe Faber Field for the third time in six years. Individual standouts included Dylan Lewkutz throwing seven shutout innings, and a Nolan Geislinger solo home run, but the Rox fell to the Leprechauns, 3-1.

The season has been one of history, one of memories, one of good times. Up next is a new season, filled with more opportunity to thrive, just as the Rox did this year.
