The start on the mound went to Joe Battaglia (Southern) who returned for his second season with the Rox. Battaglia struck out seven batters over five solid inning and earned his first victory of the summer.

The bullpen allowed just one run combined. Joseph Brandon (Georgia State) made his debut and got six outs in the sixth and seventh. He was followed by Logan Herrera (Minot State), who tossed a scoreless eighth in his third outing of the year.

Finally, Zane Badmaev (Tarleton State) continues to look like a legitimate late-inning option for the Rox. Badmaev threw a perfect ninth to finish off the Rox sixth consecutive win.
