ST. CLOUD, MN – The St. Cloud Rox (13-7) split the series against the Bismarck Larks (9-11) after dropping game two with a 4-2 final score, Sunday, June 18th. In the Great Plains West division, the Rox sit among the top teams in the division.

The final pitcher for St. Cloud was Andrew Morones. Morones made his 2nd appearance in relief for the Rox, commanding the 9th inning, striking out two batters. The right-handed pitcher has thrown 2.1 scoreless innings this season.

Jackson Hauge had the best day at the dish for St. Cloud with three hits and an RBI in the 9th inning. Hauge raised his season batting average to .328 and RBI total to 13. Kyle Jackson had two hits and a walk in game two of the series. Jackson has hits in six of his last seven games, batting .333 over that span.

Kolten Smith started the day for St. Cloud, achieving career-highs with 5.0 innings pitched and nine strikeouts. Evan Esch came in relief in the 6th inning, striking out the side in his 3rd appearance of the season. Garrett Mclaughlin made his 3rd appearance, throwing 1.0 inning, keeping the Larks scoreless. Cade Lommel made his 4th appearance, his 2nd in relief, striking out two batters in the 8th inning.

The Rox return to the Rock Pile Wednesday, June 21st, for a doubleheader with a 12:05 pm first pitch and 6:35 pm first pitch against the Minnesota Mud Puppies.
