DEFENSIVE PROWESS
The Rox this season have had statistically one of the best infields in all of Northwoods League Baseball. The Rox have a team fielding percentage of .972 which is tied for the league lead with Rockford. St. Cloud also leads the Northwoods League in the errors column as they have only committed 36 errors this year.
PROBABLE STARTERS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
STC- Brandt Thompson will get the slab for St. Cloud tonight. Thompson has a 1.59 ERA across 17 innings this season and has struck out 19 batters. In his last start, he went seven scoreless innings in a no decision effort on the 28th of June. He has gone five or more innings in each of his first three starts of this season.
MAN- Joe Skapinetz will be making his first start and appearance of the season for Mankato. Skapinetz pitched at Lafayette College over the spring where he pitched throughout 37.2 innings of ball and compiled a 8.12 ERA. Skapinetz struck out 49, walked 29 and allowed 46 hits over those innings.
