ST. CLOUD, MN – The 2026 St. Cloud Rox (45-28) season came to a close on Thursday at Joe Faber Field, falling just short to the Royal Oak Leprechauns (47-29) 3-1 in the Northwoods League Championship.
In the game, Dylan Lewkutz (Georgia Gwinnett College) pitched seven shutout innings, and Nolan Geislinger (University of Oregon) hit a solo home run.
The game was the final chapter in a season that broke numerous records and entertained more than 55,000 fans at Joe Faber Field.
The Rox won their third Great Plains Championship in the last six years and walked off Willmar to knock the Stingers out of the playoffs.
The Rox broke a Northwoods League single-season record in stolen bases during the regular season and set a new franchise record in runs scored.
The Rox finished with the best record in the Great Plains during the first half and sent the coaching staff to lead the Great Plains All-Star team at the Field of Dreams.
Although the 2026 season came to an end, countless memories were made on and off the field in another summer of Rox Solid Fun.
The All-Star Trophy and Awards Star of the Game is Dylan Lewkutz.
The 2026 season is presented by Eide Chrysler St. Cloud.
