Throughout the season Rox fans can get to know their players a little better with some Rox Player Profiles, presented by Profile by Sanford. The feature is back this week, featuring two players with some local ties.

The first is catcher/first baseman Luke Ringhofer (South Dakota State), who revealed his love for Red Lobster

The second player for this week also plays catcher and first, Brendan Illies (North Carolina) who has local ties to the area with both sets of grandparents living within an hour of the Granite City.

Illies was recently featured in a story that ran in the St. Cloud Times that can be read here. He also was the subject of a radio story earlier this season, which can be listened to here.
