The Mankato Moondogs extend their win streak to seven after sweeping the St. Cloud Rox this weekend. The Rox tallied nineteen batters that reached base in game two of their series, but could not push enough across to get to series split. The Traverse City Pit Spitters and Madison will reschedule to play in a double header mid July due to inclement weather Sunday evening.

Wisconsin 13, Battle Creek 3

The Wisconsin Rapid Rafters split the series 1-1 after defeating the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 13-3 in game two Sunday evening. The Rapid Rafters are 15-12 on the season.

Brendan Bobo (California St – Fullerton) went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI, and two runs scored. Garrett Broussard (Utah Valley) went 1-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and one run scored. Malakai Vetock (Creighton) earned the win throwing 3 innings and allowed two hits, one run, three walks, and struck out one.

Kenosha 2, Green Bay 8

The Green Bay Rockers breaks Kenosha’s win streak after defeating them 8-2 in game two of their series. The Rockers are tied with the Wausau Woodchucks with a 16-12 record in the Great Lakes West division.

Kyle West (West Virginia) went 1-for-2 with a three run home run and three runs scored. Blake Wilson (Kansas St) went 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Mateo Matthews (Wagner) drove in two with a double. Grayson Walker (Dickinson College) earned the win throwing 4 scoreless innings – allowing one walk and two strikeouts.

Lakeshore 9, Fond du Lac 5

The Lakeshore Chinooks got the series sweep against Fond du Lac this weekend after defeating them 9-5 in game two of the series. The Chinooks are now at an 11-6 record.

Joseph Spence (Notre Dame) went 3-for-5 with a double, four RBI, and one run scored. Will Johannes (Madison College) also went 3-for-5 with a double and one RBI. Mitch Alba (Eastern Illinois) earned his first win on the mound after throwing 6 innings – allowed two hits, one run, three walks, and three strikeouts.

Eau Claire 5, Duluth 2

The Eau Claire Express extend their win streak to four after defeating Duluth twice in their series matchup over the weekend. The Express sit a second with a 15-11 record in the Great Plains East division.

Tanner Sagouspe (Cal Poly) had two hits with two RBI and two runs scored. Reed Latimer (Montevallo) went 3-for-5 with one run scored. Robert Hogan (Texas A&M) earned the win after throwing 2.1 innings and allowed zero hits, one run, one walk, and five strikeouts.

Kalamazoo 3, Rockford 9

The Rockford Rivets split the series against Kalamazoo after defeating them 9-3 Sunday evening. The Rivets are now at a 17-11 record on the season.

Nick Demarco (Notre Dame) went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. Carson Roberts (Illinois – Chicago) went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Zach Kempe (Notre Dame) earns his second win on the mound after throwing

Mankato 11, St. Cloud 5

The Mankato MoonDogs take game two and wins the series against the St. Cloud Rox. The MoonDogs rank second with a 17-10 record in the Great Plains East division.

Dustin Crenshaw (Grand Canyon) went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored. Ryan Nicholson (Cincinnati) also went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. James Agabedis III (Tulane) went 2-for-3 with one run scored. Jack Anker (Fresno St) gets the win after throwing 6 innings and allowed seven hits, two runs, three walks, and struck out seven.

Wausau 6, Kokomo 2

Wausau gets the series split versus Kokomo after they took game two 6-2 Sunday evening. The Wausau Woodchucks are tied with the Green Bay Rockers with a 16-12 record in the Great Lakes West division.

Colin Brueggemann (Oklahoma St) went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI, and one run scored. Jesse Donohoe (Georgia St) had two hits and two RBI with a triple. Brian Reinke (Richmond) earned the win throwing 3 innings – allowed two hits, zero runs and walks, and struck out seven in relief.

Thunder Bay 4, La Crosse 5

The La Crosse Loggers upset the Thunder Bay Border Cats who took game one against them Saturday night. The Loggers earned their ninth win of the season.

Troy LaNeve (Vanderbilt) went 2-for-4 with a double and one run scored. Ben Zeigler-Namoa (Hawaii) led the team tallying two RBI on the night. Tony Pluta (Arizona) earned the win throwing two scoreless innings, striking out two.

Willmar 13, Rochester 7

The Willmar Stingers earned their twentieth win after defeating Rochester 13-7 to split the series. The Stingers lead the Great Plains division with a 20-6 record.

Jack Hines (Augustana) went 3-for-4 with a double, one RBI, and three runs scored. Parker Stinson (Indiana St) led the offense with two hits and four RBI on the day. Gino Cozzi (Montevallo) earned the win throwing 3 innings – allowed only two hits, one run, one walk, and struck out four.
