My favorite part is definitely the community of Bismarck. I grew up in really small communities and tight-knit communities my whole life…These fans are invested in this team and these boys and even us interns. They love us and see us as their kids for the summer. Getting to make their experience great and getting to meet them has been my favorite part. You’ll learn a lot more than you’ll ever realize. If you’re willing to put the work in, it’s a great experience.

Adam Busack

Adam’s baseball journey began as a student manager for the University of Missouri in 2021, and since then, he’s gained diverse experience across the U.S., including an internship with the Bismarck Larks. In 2024 as a senior studying journalism, Adam was excited to return to North Dakota as the Big Sticks joined the Northwoods League.

Coming into this internship I had never operated a camera and had to learn on the job which was a super thrilling experience. It’s been hands-on on every direction and that’s something that I really enjoyed about this internship. You get to experience different tools day-to-day so that you fine-tune these skills.
