The Bismarck Larks 2024 season is set to begin on Memorial Day and features 12 home games against in-state rivals Minot Hot Tots & Badlands Big Sticks.

Season 8 presented by Farmers Union Insurance features 36 home games at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark Home of Dakota Community Bank & Trust Field and 12 home games against in-state rivals Minot Hot Tots and Badlands Big Sticks.

The Larks return to play on May 27 against the St. Cloud Rox that begins a stretch of 22 home games in the first 33 days.

“Our season 8 theme, “To Infinity and Beyond” perfectly encapsulates the boundless opportunities that lie ahead,” Larks Owner & CEO John Bollinger said. “We’re charging forward, and 2024 promises to be our best season yet.”

A new regime on the field is underway with the Larks hiring new Field Manager Mark Weidemaier. Weidemaier brings decades of experience of coaching and scouting from leagues around the world including nearly two decades in Major League Baseball.

The Larks also hired a Food & Beverage consultant to join the team. Co-Owner of Butterhorn, Shane Cornelius, and the Larks are committed to enhancing the food experience at every Larks home game.

Thirdly, a new rivalry is in the badlands of North Dakota as the Northwoods League welcomes the Badlands Big Sticks. This move promises a new level of excitement on top of last year’s addition of the Minot Hot Tots.
