What is it?
Any baseball player, ages 7 – 14, can participate in the local MLB Pitch, Hit & Run event for free. Athletes with the highest scores at the local level can advance to the Team Championship, which is held inside MLB and MiLB ballparks across the United States and Canada.
Team Championship finalists with the highest scores across the leaderboard then win an all-expenses paid trip to compete in the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run finals at the 2025 World Series.

Eligibility to Compete
- Must meet age requirement
- Maximum age is 14 by November 15, 2025
- This local event will only be competing in baseball, but it is open to both boys and girls
- All participating athletes must complete the digital registration at the bottom of this page
- Competitors must supply their own baseball bat, which must have one of the following stamps:
- USA Baseball
- BBCOR
- Or be labeled with BPF of 1.15 or less

Competition
What Will Competitors Be Judged On?
Players will a receive a score in each of these three areas: accuracy of pitching, distance on hitting off a tee, and running speed from home to first. Athletes will also receive an overall score that factors in all of those measurements. The overall score will be used to determine the athlete’s eligibility to advance to the next round.

Who Will Athletes Compete Against?
The divisions for the baseball competition are:
- 7-8 Age Division
- 9-10 Age Division
- 11-12 Age Division
- 13-14 Age Division

Registration
How Do I Register?
Registration for the Pitch, Hit & Run event is free. All participants must register in order to compete. The registration form is linked in the button at the bottom of this page. You will be prompted to create an MLB account, if you don’t already have one. This will allow you complimentary access to a 2025 MLB.tv subscription, among other offers.
