Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks have announced that infielder Tyler Robbins will return to play for the Bucks in 2010.  Currently, Robbins is a junior at Dallas Baptist University and is the ninth player to sign with the Bucks for the summer.
 
Last season for Waterloo, Robbins played in 41 games with a batting average of .224.  Robbins finished the season with 11 RBI, three stolen bases, and a .333 on-base percentage.  Playing the majority of his games as a second baseman, Robbins finished with six doubles and 35 hits.
 
Robbins played his first two years of collegiate baseball at Des Moines Area Community College for former Bucks’ Manager Dan Fitzgerald where he was named the 2008 ICCAC Player of the Year and received First-Team All American honors after hitting .394 and a DMACC school record 20 home runs.  The 6’0″, 190-pounder transferred to DBU after the 2009 season.
 
Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, Robbins played his prep baseball at Bettendorf High School where he was named to the All-State Elite team in 2007. 

The Bucks will open the 2010 season at home on Wednesday, June 2 at 6:35 pm versus Wisconsin Rapids.  Season tickets and single-game tickets are currently on sale.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
