(Wisconsin Rapids, WI)  In honor of the Rafters Inaugural Season, all babies born at Riverview Family Birthplace on the day of the Rafters home opener will receive free season tickets for life, compliments of Riverview and the Rafters. Riverview Hospital has teamed up with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to provide a lifetime pass to every baby born between midnight and 11:59 pm on June 6, 2010.

On hand to congratulate the mothers will be Rosco P. Rafter himself! During the morning of June 6, Rosco will be waddling around the family birthplace handing out gift packages along with the news of the free tickets.

Rosco will be sharing pictures or video of the newborns and mothers at the game on the night of June 6.  Those mothers and babies will be invited back to Witter Field later in the season to be recognized.

“As a cornerstone of our community, Riverview Hospital Association is very pleased to welcome the Rafters to the greater Wisconsin Rapids area,” said Mark Skibba, Riverview Director of Community Relations.  “Riverview thanks the Rafters for the opportunity to partner in this fun and exciting celebration of their inaugural season. We wish all expectant parents the best of luck and good luck to another Hometown Team.”
