North Florida product Tommy Organ will return to Wisconsin Rapids for the 2011 NWL season. Organ, a left-handed pitcher, appeared in 16 games this past summer for the Rafters while striking out a team high 54 batters.

The Chicago, IL native appeared in 15 games out of the North Florida bullpen while posting a 4.56 ERA as a freshman in 2010. In 25.2 innings he struck out 19 batters and also compiled 3 saves.

“Tommy has great character and brings experience to our 2011 pitching staff.  We are excited to have him back and look forward to him playing an even bigger role for us next summer,” said Rafters GM Liz Kern.
