Tonight's Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night is Wisconsin Rapids right-hander Jake Johansmeier, a junior from Eastern Illinois. The Rafters walked off in extra innings so Johansmeier took a no-decision but he had a strong start.
He went seven one-run innings, allowing just two hits and walking three while striking out five. He now has a 3.90 ERA on the season with 18 strikeouts over his first 25 innings.
