Wednesday's pithcer of the night is Rochester southpaw Matt Kent, a sophomore from Texas A&M. Kent dazzled over seven innings as he boosted the Honkers to their third straight win.
Kent went seven shutout innings with four strikeouts while allowing just two hits and a walk. He picked up his first win on the season to improve to 1-2 with a 2.17 ERA over 20 2/3 innings with 15 strikeouts.
