Saturday's player of the night is Eau Claire catcher Brian Mundell, a sophomore from Cal Poly. Mundell carried the Express to a 9-2 victory over Mankato, the MoonDogs first loss of the second half.
Mundell drove in five runs on a 2-4 night that included a bases-clearing triple in the first inning. He added a run and is now hitting .256 through 14 games, including nine RBIs as he doubled his runs batted in total in one game.
