Thursday's Player of the Night is Battle Creek centerfielder Anthony Cheky, a junior from Michigan State. Cheky and the Bombers walked off in the bottom of the ninth for their sixth straight win, an 8-7 victory over La Corsse.

Cheky was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a trio of singles- one a two-run single, and another adding another run as he finished with three RBIs. He also swiped a pair of bases to bring his season total to eight, while his average sits at .560 through his first six games for Battle Creek.

He has multiple hits in all but one of his games so far, including a trio of three-hit performances.
