Waterloo took over first place in the North Division as they pummeled Thunder Bay 14-4 while Willmar took a loss. Meanwhile, Kenosha cut into Wisconsin's lead for the second playoff spot in the South as they split a doubleheader and now only trail by 1 1/2 games. 

Green Bay 11, Kenosha 7 (10 innings, Game 1)

Green Bay rallied for four runs in the top of the tenth and hand the reeling Kingfish a fourth straight loss. Both teams combined to leave 23 runners on base, but a run came home on after a pinch hit single from Matthew de la Rosa (Leonir-Rhyne) and an error in right brought home two more. Johnny Bekakis (Long Beach State) went 2-4 with a double and three RBIs, while Dan Becks (St. Edwards) picked up his second straight win with a shutout 10th.

Lakeshore 2, Wisconsin 1

The Woodchucks had an opportunity to increase their lead for the second playoff spot, but they grounded into four double plays and fell, 2-1 to the Chinooks. Evan Kruczynski (East Carolina) gave up five walks over six innings and gave up just one run as the defense behind him made several key plays. Wisconsin grounded into a bases-loaded double play after pulling ahead 1-0, and it came back to haunt them as Blake Butler (Charleston Col) and Ryan Larson (Florida) both picked up RBIs for Kruczynski's fifth straight win. 

Kenosha 2, Green Bay 1 (Game 2)

Kenosha snapped a four-game losing streak, and paired with a Wisconsin loss saw the Kingfish pull 1.5 game back of the second playoff spot in the South. Green Bay jumped ahead 1-0 in the second, but the Kingfish countered with a two-run fourth and hung on for the win. Dillon Mazzoccoli (Blinn Col) was dominant, striking out eight while allowing just one earned run over seven innings to imrpove to a perfect 3-0. Buddy Reed (Florida) drove in both runs for Kenosha with a single. 

Mankato 1, Willmar 0

A late run in the eighth carried Mankato to a narrow 1-0 win over Willmar, kncoking the Stingers out of first place in the Northern Division. James McMahon (Southern Miss) was stellar over eight shutout innings while striking out four for his first win of the season. Teammate Jacob Westerhouse (North Alabama) threw a scoreless ninth for his seventh save while a RBI double from Peter Maris (UC Santa Barbara) was the difference.

Waterloo 14, Thunder Bay 4

Sole posession of first place by a half game now belongs to Waterloo as a convincing 14-4 win over Thunder Bay paired with a Stingers loss gave the Bucks a half game lead. Connor McClain (Indiana St) went 3-5 with three runs, three RBIs and three doubles while four different Waterloo batters recorded two RBIs a piece. Middle reliever Alec Knop (Luther College) went four shutout innings for his first win of the season in just his second appearrance. The Border Cats jumpead ahead 3-0 in the top of the first, but Waterloo went ahead 4-3 and finished with four different multi-run innings as they racked up 21 hits.

Kalamazoo 8, La Crosse 2

Shane Bryant (Purdue) went six strong innings and Karl Sorensen (St. Cloud St) and John Brodener (Wright St) both drove in two runs and Kalamazoo handed La Crosse a second straight loss. Kalamazoo struck for four runs in the first and didn't look back, striking for two more in both the fourth and fifth. Bryant allowed just one run over six innings and struck out two. 

Madison 6, Alexandria 1

Madison jumped ahead 5-0 and didn't look back as starter Alex Pondick (Montevallo) went six one-run innings while striking out six. The bullpen wen three shutout innings and was backed by a two-RBI days from a pair of Mallards. Matt Thaiss (Virginia) and Michael Handel (Minnesota) both drove in two as Madison racked up 12 hits and capitalized on the Blue Anchors leaving seven runners on base. 

Battle Creek 11, Wisconsin Rapids 6

Battle Creek prevailed in a three-hour, 37-minute slugfest that featured 17 runs and 26 hits. Every single member of the Bombers lineup recorded a hit and all but one scored as they jumped ahead early with a six-run first- the total Wisconsin Rapids would score in the entire game. Cody Kuznicki (Northern Kentucky) and Logan Spurlin (Northern Kentucky), college teammates, both drove in a pair of runs for Battle Creek. 

St. Cloud 9, Rochester 5

Rochester jumped ahead 4-0 and were still leading by two entering the eighth, but St. Cloud erupted for six runs to pull away late for the win. The Rox outhit Rochester 12-4 and had a three-RBI performance from pinch hitter Morgan Phillips (Charleston Col), who was a perfect 2-2 at the plate- both doubles. Teammate Clay Ardeeser (Georgia Col) added a solo home run while reliever Trevor Charpie (Tennessesse) got the win with 3 2/3 scoreless innings.
