Despite being on the losing end of a 6-1 game on Friday night against the Battle Creek Bombers, the Kalamazoo Growlers received a solid hitting performance from their leftfielder Dan Robinson (Central Michigan). Robinson hit 3-for-4 with the only run batted in for the Growlers via a single in the bottom of the third inning.
Kalamazoo will play Battle Creek again tomorrow night at 6:05.
