The Willmar Stingers outlasted the Mankato MoonDogs 5-3 on Sunday night in 13 innings, and Mankato was unable to get to Stinger starter Brad Schaenzer (Kentucky), who struck out 10 batters in five innings of work. The sophomore from Oxford, Michigan allowed a run on two hits and two walks, as the Stingers improved to 6-7 with the victory.
Willmar will host Mankato again tomorrow night at 7:05 from Bill Taunton Stadium.
