The Waterloo Bucks defeated the La Crosse Loggers 8-6 on Tuesday night at home. Waterloo designated hitter Adam McGinnis (Western Illinois) had a big game at the plate. He finished 3-for-5 with five RBI and two runs scored, including a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to be named the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night.
Waterloo will play a home-and-home doubleheader against the La Crosse on Wednesday.
