The Lakeshore Chinooks lost 1-0 on Thursday night to the Madison Mallards, but they received a phenomenal pitching performance from their starter. Marshall Kasowski (Houston) threw seven innings and allowed just one run on five hits and one walk with 11 strikeouts. He was named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night in the loss.
Lakeshore will host Madison at 6:35 on Friday night.
