The Waterloo Bucks defeated the Duluth Huskies on the road Thursday night 9-7 with a big offensive game from their second baseman. Leadoff hitter Taylor Boyd (St. Josephs) reached base four times, as he went 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored and three RBI to be named the Northwoods League Player of the Night.

Waterloo will play the Thunder Bay Border Cats on the road on Friday night at 7:05.
