The Willmar Stingers swept the Rochester Honkers on Sunday, and they received a huge game from their starting pitcher. In the seven-inning game, righthander Jayce Vancena (Michigan) threw a complete-game shutout and allowed three hits and zero walks with five strikeouts to be named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night.
Willmar will have the day off on Monday.
