The Madison Mallards crushed the Lakeshore Chinooks 15-3 at home on Tuesday night and recorded 17 hits in the process. Madison's first baseman Nate Palace (Valparaiso) hit 4-for-5 at the plate with six RBI and three runs scored. He connected on two homers, including a grand slam in the seventh inning to be named the Northwoods League Player of the Night.
Madison will host Lakeshore again on Wednesday night at 7:05.
