The Mankato MoonDogs needed just one pitcher to beat the Rochester Honkers 3-1 on Monday night in Game 2 of the doubleheader. Mankato starter Ricky Digrugilliers (Western Illinois) tossed a complete game and gave up one run on four hits and one walk with four strikeouts to earn the win and be named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night.
Mankato will host the Battle Creek Bombers on Tuesday night at 7:05.
