Zach Zubia (Texas) earned tonight's player of the night after going 4-7 in a doubleheader against Waterloo. Zubia got things going in the first inning of the first game when he hit a two-run shot. He then hit his second of the game which came from a three-run shot in the sixth. Zubia got on in the opening inning of the second game from a walk and later scored. He then led off the sixth inning with a single and scored from a home run. Zubia finished the day with 2 home runs, 5 runs scored and 5 RBI.
