Cooper Powell (Nevada Reno) earned tonight's pitcher of the night after keeping the MoonDogs in the game against La Crosse. Powell got in to a little bit of trouble in the when he put two guys on form a double and single, but got the next batter out to prevent any runs. He put two more guys on in the seventh, but retired the side as he ended his outing. Powell threw seven scoreless, allowing seven hits and no walks while striking out five.
