Danny Rodriguez (Bethune Cookman) earned tonight's player of the night after going 2-3 for the Stingers in their 8-7 victory over La Crosse. Rodriguez put Willmar on the board in the first with a two-run shot. He then led off the fourth with a walk and scored two batters later from a sac fly. In his fourth at bat in the seventh, Rodriguez hit a grand slam to put Willmar up five. Rodriguez then drew an intentional walk in the bottom of the ninth to keep Willmar alive as they won it a batter later. He finished the night with 2 walks, 3 runs scored and 6 RBI.
