Zack Kesterson (Arkansas Tech) earned pitcher of the night as he threw a complete game shutout for the Dock Spiders in their win over Battle Creek. Kesterson retired the first eight batters in order until he allowed a single, but got the next batter to ground out. He clinched the complete game as he retired the side in order in the top of the ninth with two strike outs. Kesterson's final line was only five hits and no walks while striking out six.
