David Villar (South Florida) earned player of the night after going 3-5 for the Loggers' in their extra innings game against Thunder Bay. Villar led off the second with a single in his first at bat, but ran into a double play. He then went deep in the fourth as he drove in three runs. He drew a walk in the eighth and later scored from a bases loaded walk. Villar singled in a run in the ninth to keep La Crosse in the game. He ended the night with a home run, walk, 2 runs scored and 4 RBI.
