Alec Marsh (Arizona State) pitched a complete game and only allowed one unearned run as the Chinooks defeated Rockford 4-1. After throwing a perfect first inning, Marsh loaded the bases in the second, but got out of it with a ground out. The only run scored in the third from an error, but he ended the inning with a fielder's choice. From the 6th-8th he retired nine in-order and only faced four batters in the ninth to end the game. Marsh only allowed the one run on six hits and one walk while striking out six.
