Zack Kesterson (Arkansas Tech) earned tonight’s pitcher of the night for his strong outing in the Dock Spiders’ win over Rockford. His first run came home in the fourth from a sac fly, but Kesterson got the next batter to also fly out to end the inning. He couldn’t quite go the distance as he was pulled with two guys on in the ninth and two outs, but the game ended in the next at bat. Kesterson only allowed one run in 8.2 on six hits, one walk and 10 strikeouts.
