Justin Slaten (New Mexico) earned Pitcher of the Night after pitching a dandy for Eau Claire in their win over Bismarck. He started the game by retiring the first 12 guys. Slaten issued a walk and a double, but got the next two out of three to strike out. He then shut the door on the next nine batters and was pulled for the ninth inning. Slaten picked up the win after allowing only one hit while striking out 13.
