Bennett Wiggins (St. John’s (MN)) threw in a pitcher’s dual with Eau Claire, but ended up on the winning end and earned Pitcher of the Night honors. He threw the entire game which went scoreless for all nine innings. Wiggins and his counterpart never faced more than four batters in an inning until the ninth. He put two guys on from a double and a walk, but retired the side on fly outs. Wiggins’ final line was six hits, two walks and two strikeouts and earned himself the win when the Larks got three in the top of the 10th.
