Gareth Stroh (Purdue) earned pitcher of the night after throwing six for the Rafters and helping them to a win over Kenosha. He retired the first five in-order. Stroh then gave up a base runner from an error and issued a walk in the second, but nothing came of it. The fifth inning was a little rough, allowing three hits and a walk, but the two runs that scored were unearned. Stroh managed to retire the side in order in the sixth, didn’t factor in to the decision, but still just allowed two unearned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out seven.
