Blake Walden (New Mexico) earned pitcher of the night after throwing a complete game shutout for Rochester. His first multi-base runner inning came in the third from a single and hit by pitch, but got the next guy to ground out. Walden retired the next nine batters, allowed a hit in the seventh and then retired the next seven out of eight hitters. He ended the night with just four hits and one walk while striking out three.
