Shane McGuire (San Diego) earned player of the night when he jacked a home run in the Loggers win over Rochester. He drew a walk in the opening inning and scored a run. McGuire led off the third with a hit by pitch and scored from a home run. He hit his home run in the fourth which drove in two and then knocked in an RBI single. McGuire hit one more RBI single in the seventh and finished the night 3 for 3 with a home run, three runs scored and four RBI.
