Alexander Nolan (Brock) threw a complete game shutout in the Border Cats seven inning win over Waterloo in game one of a doubleheader. The first two base runners came from an error and double in the first and second. He allowed two singles in the third, but got the final guy to ground out. Nolan then retired the final 13 batters and improved to 4-0.
