Kenosha handed Madison their fourth loss of the second half for their fourth win. Lakeshore improved to 4-0 with a six-run victory over Wisconsin. The second half North standings shows four teams tied at 3-1 with Duluth, Mankato, Thunder Bay and La Crosse.

Madison 6, Kenosha 7

The Kenosha Kingfish walked it off in the bottom of the ninth and defeated the Madison Mallards 7-6. Kenosha used two Mallards errors and a two-run double by Will Wagner (Liberty) to scored five right away. Madison slowly chipped away as they got a pair in the third. The Mallards then tied it in the fifth when Tyler Plantier (Richmond) knocked in two from a single. The Kingfish got one in the seventh, Madison tied it in the eighth and then Mike Madej (NW Florida State) jacked a walk-off home run to win the game for the Kingfish.

Eau Claire 11, La Crosse 8

The Eau Claire Express used the final three innings to defeat the La Crosse Loggers and win the game 11-8. La Crosse got three in the opening inning which was powered by Harrison Freed (Butler) hitting a two-run shot. Shane McGuire (San Diego) then cleared the bases with a double and Freed went deep again for five in the second. Eau Claire got two in the seventh as Nick Brueser (Stanford) led off the inning with a homer. The Express tied it in the eighth which started with Brueser hitting a home run and scoring from a two-run single. The Express eventually took the lead in the ninth with four as the Loggers committed three errors and Devon Garcia (Ohio) hitting a double for the eventual final score.

St. Cloud 5, Waterloo 3

The St. Cloud Rox did all their scoring in the first three innings and defeated the Waterloo Bucks 5-3. Both teams got runs in the opening inning. Landon Stephens (Miami (OH)) hit a double for a run for the Rox while Patrick Ferguson (Kent State) singled one in the for the Bucks. The Rox got three in the second and the Bucks countered for one in the bottom half. Ryan Weisenberg (Georgetown) homered for St. Cloud in the third and then relied on pitching for the rest. Waterloo did get one in the eighth on an RBI single, but Erik Martinez (Cal) came back to pitch a scoreless ninth for his first save.

Wisconsin Rapids 5, Fond du Lac 2

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters used the middle innings to take a lead and defeat the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 5-2. Rapids got two in the fourth with was started on an error and end with Mitch Mallek (St. Cloud State) singling in a run. They got two more in the fifth, but Fondy cut it within two from an RBI double by Cole Zabowski  (Ole Miss). Matt Schmidt (Michigan) Led off the sixth with a dinger for Rapids and got Mason McReaken (SIUE) to convert his third save.

Battle Creek 1, Rockford 2

The Rockford Rivets took the lead in the sixth and defeated the Battle Creek Bombers 2-1. Brock Mathis (NW Florida State) knocked in an unearned run in the second from a double. The Bombers tied it in the third on an RBI single by Caleb Henderson (New Mexico State). The Rivets took the lead in the sixth from a balk which scored Ryan Cole (Notre Dame). They got their bullpen to throw the final three which was capped off by Nathan Schneiderman (Dubuque) converting his fourth save.

Wisconsin 4, Lakeshore 10

The Lakeshore Chinooks scored early and often and defeated the Wisconsin Woodchucks 10-4. The Woodchucks got two in the opening inning when Jaren Shelby (State College of Florida) went deep. The Chinooks got one in the bottom half on an RBI single by Griffin Dey (Yale). Both teams traded runs in the third from sac flyouts. The Chinooks took the lead in the fourth with four as Connor Christman (Butler) knocked in two on a single. Shelby went deep again to lead off the fifth, but Dey knocked in two more in a three-run sixth. Lakeshore got one more in the eighth, but Nick Campe (Olivet Nazarene) struck out two in the ninth to end the game.

Duluth 1, Rochester 2 (11 Innings)

The Rochester Honkers walked it off in the bottom of the 11th and defeated the Duluth Huskies 2-1. The Huskies got one in the opening inning when Nicholas Sogard (Loyola-Marymount) scored on a wild pitch. Hayden Shenefield (Cal State Northride) threw the first 8.1 for the Huskies. He allowed just one run on five hits and one walk while striking out nine. The one run came in the sixth when Andy Armstrong (Oregon State) singled in a run. In the bottom of the 11th with two outs and a runner on first, Alex Baeza (Hawaii) doubled in the game-winner for Rochester.

Thunder Bay 5, Bismarck 2

The Thunder Bay Border Cats allowed just one late inning of the Bismarck Larks scoring and won the game 5-2. The Cats got two in the opening inning which was started from Billy Cook (Pepperdine) knocking in a run from a triple. Thunder Bay got three more in the third which was capped off by Shane Connahan (Georgia College) doubling in two. Drew Gooch (UTA) threw seven, allowed just six hits and two walks while striking out three for his second win. The Larks scored twice from an error and an RBI single by Christian Montes (Stony Brook) in the eighth. John Sakowski (Creighton) pitched the ninth and picked up his first save.

Kalamazoo 6, Green Bay 9

The Green Bay Bullfrogs battled all game and defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers 9-6. The Growlers scored three in the second which two came unearned and another from a bases loaded walk. The Frogs got one in the third and then tied it in the fourth as Esteban Cardoza-Oquendo (Navarro) singled in a run. Kalamazoo took the lead in the sixth, but the Frogs scored twice in the bottom half. The Growlers put up one in the eighth, but Green Bay hung another four in the bottom half as Blake Nelson (Michigan) singled in a run. Sam Crail (Indiana) went deep for Kalamazoo in the ninth, but the next guy grounded out to end the game.

Mankato 9, Willmar 11

The Willmar Stingers prevented a very late rally from the Mankato MoonDogs and won the game 11-9. Willmar scored eight in the first five innings. Tyler Reichenborn (Iowa Western) homered in the first, the Stingers got one in the second, Eric Yang (UCSB) knocked in two from a double and got one in the fourth. Blaze Glenn (Youngstown State) led off the fifth with a homer for Mankato, but Willmar got three in the bottom half. Kyle MacDonald (Arkansas State) went deep for the Dogs in the sixth, but Willmar got one in the seventh. Mankato got one in the eight, but Willmar put up two in the bottom half. Mankato was down seven, Tucker Pate (Walters State) started the scoring in the six-run ninth with a home run. Josh Elvir (Houston) also knocked in two from a single, but the final guy grounded out after driving in a run to end the game.
