Jon Young (Indiana Wesleyan) earned pitcher of the night after throwing a complete game for the Dock Spiders in their win over Rockford. Young got into some trouble in the third, but stranded two after allowing three hits. He retired seven straight, gave up a run and then retired the side. Young gave up just one hit until the ninth, allowed a homer, but stayed in there and earned the complete game. He ended the night allowing just two runs on seven hits while striking out four.
