Michael Michalak (Illinois) earned player of the night after going deep for the Honkers in their win over Thunder Bay. He singled in the first, but was left stranded. Michalak hit a three-run shot in the fifth and then singled and scored in the sixth. He ended his night 3 for 5 with two runs scored and three RBI.
