Matt Hardy (UC Riverside) earned player of the night after going 4 for 4 despite the Honkers not picking up the win. He hit a single in the opening inning and then led off the fourth with a dinger. Hardy led off the sixth a another home run and then drew a walk in the seventh. He collected his fourth hit in the ninth on a double, ended his night 4 for 4 with two home runs, two RBI and two runs scored.
